Lark got her BA in Theatre but wound up working in healthcare instead of on stage. What she really wanted to do was write, but it took too many years before pursuing her childhood dream. Better late than never.
Her literary journey began naturally enough with screenplays. Given her acting background and love for the silver screen, the choice seemed a no-brainer. So she got busy writing spec scripts (mainly in the horror genre), queried countless producers (some of whom expressed interest) and entered screenplay contests (a few of which she even won).
What she learned from her experience is that it's really, really, really difficult getting your stories turned into movies. So she made the switch to self-publishing where the writer has total control. Now Lark pens romance novels.
On days when she isn't practicing the three R’s (reading, ’riting and running), she's doing a month’s worth of laundry all at once, stalking hunks on Instagram for research (cough), or surfing Netflix.
She's traveled the world and spent part of her childhood overseas but calls Seattle home. She resides in a 1926 bungalow in need of a paint job with her awesome husband, two of the gassiest French Bulldogs on the planet, and one naughty Chiweenie.
